Support Groups @ Blossom Birth & Family, Palo Alto

Blossom Birth & Family is offering two, in person support groups on Tuesdays:

MotherTogether is a group where moms get real about motherhood. Whether pregnant, postpartum, or becoming a mother again, you will learn skills to build resilience, increase confidence, and feel more empowered in your parenting journey. With a focus on the mental load, selfcare, and defining new standards of success.

Join other nursing parents in Blossom Birth’s safe and supportive Breastfeeding Connections community. Get your questions answered by a Nursing Mothers Counsel trained volunteer breastfeeding counselor, and meet other nursing parents who share these challenges with you. Open to all nursing parents including partners/support people.

Pleasure Point Yoga Community Yoga Class, Santa Cruz, February 17th

Brilliant Births HypnoBirthing® Class, Berkeley, Feb. 17 – March 16

Join Brilliant Births for HypnoBirthing® – The Mongan Method 5-week class starting on February 17th. This is a birthing method that uses self-hypnosis and relaxation techniques to assist birthing people to feel prepared for birth and can help to reduce fear, anxiety, and pain during labor and birth. Over the course of 5-weeks, with two and a half hour sessions, they will teach techniques such as affirmation, massage, visualization, breathing, deep relaxation, and self-hypnosis.

Valentine’s Day Family Dance Party, San Francisco, Feb. 14th

Looking for an activity you AND the kids will enjoy? Feeling over hearing “kiddie” music on repeat? Natural Resources SF Family Dance Party returns with a special Valentine’s Day Edition! For all ages, from babies to seniors. Kid-appropriate, ultra-danceable tracks will have everyone bopping! Let them jump under the disco lights, bounce after the bubbles from the bubble machine, or twirl under the giant playsilk. Whatever their moves, they’ll be tired out for bedtime!

Lean into the theme by wearing pink, red, or hearts! Music & dance accessories including castanets, shakers, and dance scarves will also be provided for use during the event.
